How CoachingRankers works
What we check, what we don't, and where every number on this site comes from.
How an institute gets listed
Coaching institutes create their own profile: name, address, contact details, courses, fee range, faculty and a description of what they teach.
Before a profile appears on the site, our team checks that the institute exists, that the contact details work and that the courses listed match the exam category it has been filed under. Profiles that fail those checks are rejected.
Listing is free. Institutes cannot pay to appear higher in a list.
What the verified marker means
A verified listing means we confirmed the institute is real and reachable at the details shown. It is not an endorsement of teaching quality, and it does not mean we audited their results.
Fees, faculty credentials and selection or result claims are supplied by the institute. We label them as reported by the institute and do not independently audit them. Treat detailed, dated, named claims as more credible than a single headline number.
How student reviews work
Anyone who has studied at an institute can leave a star rating out of five and a written review. Every review is read by a moderator before it is published.
We remove reviews that are abusive, name individuals unfairly, are obviously written by the institute itself, or contain no information about the actual experience of studying there. We do not edit the substance of a review, and institutes cannot delete reviews they dislike.
The rating shown on a profile is the plain average of all published reviews, with the number of reviews next to it. A 5.0 from two students tells you less than a 4.3 from sixty — the count is shown for exactly that reason.
How listings are ordered
By default, institutes are ordered by student rating, then by how many reviews they have. You can re-sort any directory page by newest listing or alphabetically, and filter by locality and fee range.
We do not publish an overall score out of ten and we do not rank institutes against each other editorially. The ordering is a starting point, not a verdict — shortlist two or three, compare them side by side, and enquire with each.
What we do with your enquiry
When you send an enquiry, your name, phone number and message go to that institute so they can contact you. Nothing else happens to it — we do not sell contact details to third parties and we do not send you marketing messages.
